Before you order

What do you need from me?

Date, time and place of birth, and the name you want on the cover. Your birth certificate or hospital record often lists the time. A parent usually remembers it within the hour.

I do not know my birth time. Can I still order?

Yes. Without a time we cannot compute your rising sign or houses, so those pages are shortened and clearly marked. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are unaffected. The Moon moves about twelve degrees a day, so we show a range if it changes sign that day. If you find the time later, we re-issue your reading once for free.

Is this my sun sign with extra words?

No. Two people born on the same day get different readings, because the Moon, the rising sign and the fast planets change within hours. Your copy is built from nine positions computed for your exact minute and place, and the aspects between them.

How are the positions calculated?

With Astronomy Engine, a published open-source library used in observatories and apps, at arcminute precision, in the tropical zodiac used by Western astrology. You can see every position on this page before you pay.

Who writes the text?

Every interpretation is written for one placement and edited by a person before it enters our library. Your copy is assembled from that library to match your chart, so the paragraph about your Moon in Leo is the same paragraph another Leo Moon would get, and the combination is yours.

Can I choose my own colours?

Yes. Start from any of the five designs, Night, Dawn, Ink, Slate or Stone, then pick any cover colour and accent colour from the palette. The pages inside follow the cover, cream under a dark cover and white under a light one. The chart, the chapters and the words are identical whatever you choose.

Can I put my own photo on the cover?

Yes. Your photo is printed in the centre of the wheel on the cover, cropped to a circle. It is used for your book only and deleted after delivery.
